Pizza Party

Vegan Pizza

Alongside the pizza dough makers from Neon Tiger, students will learn how to make the perfect dough & form it into a pie. We'll top it with plant-based sauce, your favorite plant-based toppings & bake it. Then we eat!
You'll take a dough ball home along with a sauce for a make at home pizza kit too!

Cook & learn from the Food Network's Chopped Champion! We'll be making traditional Filipino food, but plant-based.​ 
Chef Nikko was born and raised in the Philippines. After immigrating to the states in 2011 and working as a nurse, Cagalanan found himself inspired to pursue cooking with the desire to share his passion for Filipino food.

Hannah Weber

Herbal S.O.S: Supportive Herbs for Stress, Overwhelm & Sleep
Saturday, April 22
3-5pm


In this 2 hour workshop, Hannah Weber (herbalist and owner of Herbal Passion) will guide us through her "garden" of herbs that may be used to support: healthy stress reduction, feelings of anxiety and overwhelm, and improved sleep quality. Class will begin with a meditative tea-tasting, followed by deep-dive into 8 plants and their medicinal uses.  We will finish off with a short demo on preparing herbal infusions and leave time for Q&A. Participants will go home with a custom calming tea blend of their choice.

Mushrooms

Dive into the various ways to cook local mushrooms with mushroom farmer, Jonathan Cox. 
The mushroom farm, Lowcountry Fungi, grows a variety of gourmet and medicinal mushrooms and gives back thousands of pounds of mushroom compost each month to local farms. His philosophy has always been to stay small and stay local.
