oat Milk

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1-2 dates
  • 3.5 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender for 30 seconds.
  2. Pour liquid through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. 
  3. Keep in the refrigerator in an airtight container - will keep for 3 days. 

Walnut Herb Pesto

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tb Nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 cup oil (we use organic extra virgin olive oil)
  • 1 tb apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (or any nut or seed)
  • 1 cup very full of arugula (or any hardier green - kale, dandelion, spinach)
  • 1/2 cup herbs

Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender. 
  2. Will keep for 4-5 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator, or freeze in cubes for use over the next few months. ​
