Kitchen Volunteer: In the kitchen and responsible for anything from prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning ***Please let us know if you have limited mobility or any concerns about being on your feet for extended periods***
Delivery Angel: The final step in our weekly process! Deliver meals on Fridays to our wonderful clients
Friday Delivery Assistant: Spend time at AMOR! Help the Program Coordinator and Delivery Angels on Friday mornings
Special Events Volunteer: Not able to commit to a semester? We have events throughout the year and we’d love to have you volunteer with us for those

DELIVERY ANGEL
WHO?
Caring adults who feel connected to our Mission and are willing to be the "face of AMOR" to our clients.
Deliver meal bags to AMOR clients in a safe & timely manner, picking up from our kitchen in West Ashely.
WHAT?
WHEN?
A commitment of once every week (Fridays) for a minimum of 3 months or as a SUB filling-in when we are in need.
Deliveries go out between 10am-1pm.

KITCHEN MENTOR
Adults who have a love for food, a positive attitude, an interest in plant-based cooking and nutrition, basic culinary experience and a desire to work with youth
WHO?
Assist the Culinary Director and fellow volunteers in preparing meals for our clients and our Grab & Grow program.
Cultivate leadership skills in the youth and empowering teens in the kitchen.
WHAT?
WHEN?
A minimum commitment of every other week for 5 months.
Spring & Fall 2026 Shifts:
4:00pm-6:00pm Tuesday or Wednesday
Summer 2026 Shifts:
9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday

WHAT?
Prep: Preparing for the cooking shifts
Cook: Making the meals
Pack: Packaging and storing meals for delivery
Summer 2026 Shifts:
Tuesdays - Thursdays: 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 4pm.
Fall 2026 Shifts:
Tuesday/Wednesday: 12pm-3pm
Thursday: 9-11am and 12-3pm
*Please note that each shift is prep/cook/clean.
*Thursday Kitchen shifts are mainly packaging our meals and preparing bags for delivery on Fridays. This shift also includes cleaning the kitchen.

DELIVERY ANGEL HELPER
Helping Delivery Angels gather their bags & flowers, carrying to the car & answering any questions they may have.
Friday mornings 10:00am-12:00pm at our kitchen in West Ashley
