Position Summary

The primary purpose of the Assistant Chef is to support the Kitchen Manager in all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation and to serve as a substitute in the event of the absence of the Kitchen Manager. Additionally, the role includes the responsibility to provide and cultivate a safe & engaging learning environment for our clients and volunteers, support growth within the organization, make connections within our community and to be a steward of the ethical, environmental and educational Mission of AHK that is rooted in service and the desire to build a healthier community.
